This concoction is a fun twist on the classic Appletini, featuring a delightful combination of Vodka, Sour Apple Schnapps, and Sour Apple Mix.

For the Cocktail:

  • 1 1/2 Oz Vodka (Titos is recommended)
  • 1 Oz Sour Apple Schnapps
  • 1 Oz Sour Apple Mix

For the Bloody Rim:

  • 2 TB Clear Corn Syrup
  • 4 Drops Red Food Coloring

Creating the Bloody Rim

  1. Begin by adding approximately four drops of red food coloring to 2 tablespoons of clear corn syrup.
  2. Pour a portion of the colored syrup onto a dish.
  3. Dip the rim of your glass into the syrup, allowing it to coat the edges.
  4. If you desire larger drips, use a spoon to add small drops at intervals along the rim.
  5. You can complete this step the evening before your Halloween gathering to allow the syrup to dry, preventing stickiness.

Preparing Eyeball Ice Cubes

  1. Place one plastic eyeball in each section of an ice cube tray.
  2. Allow the eyeballs to freeze overnight, giving your cocktail an extra spooky touch.

Crafting the Poison Apple Cocktail

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  2. Add 1 1/2 ounces of Vodka, 1 ounce of Sour Apple Schnapps, and 1 ounce of Sour Apple Mix to the shaker.
  3. Shake the mixture vigorously for about 20 seconds, ensuring all ingredients are well combined.
  4. Pour the Poison Apple Cocktail into your prepared glass, complete with the eerie bloody rim.

Poison Apple Cocktail

A delicious mix of Vodka, Sour Apple Schnapps and Sour Apple Mix. Super quick and easy to make and perfect for Halloween because of the spooky green color. But what really makes this cool is to dip the edge in red dyed corn syrup so it looks like blood is dripping down the edges of the glass! As if it could be any cuter, you then freeze eyeballs in your ice cube tray!! Most definitely Witch approved!

  • 1 1/2 Oz Vodka I use Titos
  • 1 Oz Sour Apple Schnapps
  • 1 Oz Sour Apple MIx

Bloody Rim

  • 2 TB Clear Corn Syrup
  • 4 Drops Red Food Coloring

Eyeball Ice Cubes


Bloody Rim

  • Add 4 Drops or so of Red Food Coloring to 2 TB Clear Corn Syrup
  • Pour some of the syrup on a dish and dip the rim of your glass
  • You can take a spoon and put small drops every inch or so to make larger drips
  • The above can be done the evening before so it can dry

Eyeball Ice Cubes

  • Place one eyeball in each section of ice cube tray and freeze overnight


  • Fill shaker half way with ice and add Vodka, Schnapps and Mix and shake for 20 seconds
  • Pour into glass and garnish with eyeball ice cubes
