Ingredients
For the Cocktail:
- 1 1/2 Oz Vodka (Titos is recommended)
- 1 Oz Sour Apple Schnapps
- 1 Oz Sour Apple Mix
For the Bloody Rim:
- 2 TB Clear Corn Syrup
- 4 Drops Red Food Coloring
Eyeball Ice Cubes:
- 1 Ice Cube Tray (you can also use round ice cube makers)
- 1 Bag of Bloody Eyeballs
Instructions
Creating the Bloody Rim
- Begin by adding approximately four drops of red food coloring to 2 tablespoons of clear corn syrup.
- Pour a portion of the colored syrup onto a dish.
- Dip the rim of your glass into the syrup, allowing it to coat the edges.
- If you desire larger drips, use a spoon to add small drops at intervals along the rim.
- You can complete this step the evening before your Halloween gathering to allow the syrup to dry, preventing stickiness.
Preparing Eyeball Ice Cubes
- Place one plastic eyeball in each section of an ice cube tray.
- Allow the eyeballs to freeze overnight, giving your cocktail an extra spooky touch.
Crafting the Poison Apple Cocktail
- Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
- Add 1 1/2 ounces of Vodka, 1 ounce of Sour Apple Schnapps, and 1 ounce of Sour Apple Mix to the shaker.
- Shake the mixture vigorously for about 20 seconds, ensuring all ingredients are well combined.
- Pour the Poison Apple Cocktail into your prepared glass, complete with the eerie bloody rim.
- To add a final chilling touch, garnish your cocktail with the eyeball ice cubes.
