What could be more perfect to drink and serve on the 4th than an ice-cold frozen concoction that is red, white, and blue?!

This cocktail looks complicated but it’s super easy because the base is just the easy peasy Lemonade Slush recipe. To make the colors, you just add a bit more booze, simple syrup, or food coloring.

Making the Patriotic Vodka Slush

  1. Pour the frozen can of lemonade into the blender.
  2. Fill the can 3/4 of the way with vodka and add to the blender.

Tips for a Perfect Patriotic Vodka Lemonade Slush

  • Coloring Layers: Use strawberry simple syrup for the red layer and blue curacao for the blue layer. The middle layer is just the base drink.
  • Serving: To make the drink for a crowd, you need to be a bit organized to prevent it from melting. A large blender full should yield about 6 medium-sized drinks.
