Key Lime Pie Dip (The Easiest Summer Dessert!)
If you’re a fan of Key Lime Pie, this dip is for you!
My husband absolutely loved Key Lime Pie, and it was always his Father’s Day treat. Looking back, I wish I had made this dip back then because it’s so much easier than baking a pie and every bit as delicious.
This creamy, tangy dessert dip has all the bright citrus flavor of a classic Key Lime Pie, but in a fluffy, scoopable form that’s perfect for sharing all summer long.

Why You’ll Love This
This Key Lime Pie Dip is everything you love about the classic dessert without turning on the oven.
It’s:
- Creamy and irresistibly smooth
- Sweet, tangy, and loaded with fresh lime flavor
- Ready in just 10 minutes
- Perfect for parties, cookouts, and summer gatherings
- Delicious with cookies, graham crackers, or fresh fruit
I paired mine with Nilla Wafers and could not stop dipping. It’s also incredible with big juicy strawberries and fresh blackberries, both of which are in season right now and pair beautifully with the bright citrus flavor.
Ingredients You’ll Need
The ingredient list is simple, but together they create something truly special.
- Cream cheese (I used low-calorie cream cheese and honestly couldn’t taste a difference)
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Fresh squeezed lime juice
- Lime zest
- Vanilla extract
- Sea salt
- Heavy whipping cream
- Powdered sugar
You’ll need about 4 limes to get ¼ cup of fresh juice.
A little tip: Roll your limes on the counter before juicing to help release more juice.
And don’t toss those squeezed limes! You’ll use them for the zest, which adds even more fresh lime flavor and makes a beautiful garnish.

How to Make It
One of my favorite things about this recipe is how quickly it comes together.
- Add the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar to a mixing bowl and whip until creamy.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, lime zest, vanilla, sea salt, and heavy whipping cream.
- Blend until completely smooth and fluffy.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with extra lime zest, crushed graham crackers, and a lime wheel if desired.
- Chill for at least one hour before serving.
That’s it!

Tips for the Best Results
- Use freshly squeezed lime juice for the brightest flavor.
- Make sure your cream cheese is fully softened before mixing.
- Chill the dip before serving so the flavors have time to meld together.
- Save extra lime zest for garnish—it makes the dip look as good as it tastes.
What to Serve With It
There are so many delicious ways to enjoy this dip.
My favorites are:
- Nilla Wafer Cookies
- Graham Crackers
- Fresh Strawberries
- Blackberries
- Vanilla wafers
- Shortbread cookies
Graham crackers are especially perfect since traditional Key Lime Pie is made with a graham cracker crust. The flavors naturally complement each other.

When to Serve It
This is one of those recipes that feels like summer in every bite.
Serve it for:
- Backyard barbecues
- Pool parties
- Baby or bridal showers
- Father’s Day celebrations
- Fourth of July gatherings
- Weekend get-togethers
- Anytime you’re craving a sweet treat
It’s easy enough for a weeknight dessert but pretty enough for a party spread.
