Spiked Pumpkin Spice Cafe au Lait

Sharing is caring!

Nothing marks the beginning of Fall more than cool nights, the falling of leaves and yes—the most important thing—the return of Pumpkin Spice!

I am definitely team Pumpkin Spice! I love it in my food and in my drinks. Nothing is better than a Pumpkin Spiced Coffee on a cool day—well, unless of course, if it’s spiked!

Pumpkin Spice + Bourbon = Perfection

If you’re a fan of Pumpkin Spice, you will love this coffee drink. Just a touch of bourbon makes it oh so delicious—I’m sure you will love it. One thing I don’t love is the price of expensive coffee from specialty shops, so why not make it at home?

A Quick, Easy & Budget-Friendly Fall Treat

This homemade version is quick, easy, inexpensive, and delicious! All with the help of store-bought Pumpkin Spice Creamer! Now some people like their coffee concoctions extra sweet, but not me.

So I find the store-flavored creamers to be a bit too sweet, so all I did was add an ounce of regular cream and the drink was perfect for my taste. If you like your coffee nice and sweet, just add all flavored creamer instead!

Skip the Coffee Shop—Make It at Home!

So get out of that long line at the coffee shop and head home to make this quick and easy drink.

All you need is strong brewed coffee, Pumpkin Spice Creamer, regular half and half, whipped cream, a touch of Pumpkin Pie Spice and of course—some Bourbon! This is a Cafe au Lait which means half coffee and half milk—so no need for espresso.

No Fancy Tools Required

No blender or special utensils needed to mix this up. Just pour about 6 ounces of strong coffee in a cup and add some creamer, a dash of regular cream and a good helping of bourbon, then top that off with a generous dollop of whipped cream.

Sprinkle on some Pumpkin Pie Spice and you are ready to sip yourself into a Pumpkin Spice Oblivion!
