If you follow golf at all then you know who John Daly is. He is one of the greats who was known for a killer swing but also his shenanigans on the course! That’s how he got a cocktail named after him which was lucky for us because it’s a simple but delicious summer sipper.

The John Daly was named after him by a bartender in Florida after a tournament. It’s a play on an Arnold Palmer which is Iced Tea and Vodka where a John Daly also has Lemonade. This combo is super yummy and very drinkable on a hot day!

Let’s dive into how to make this delicious cocktail 🙂

John Daly Cocktail Ingredients

What You’ll Need

• 2 Oz Vodka (I use Titos – Use 1/2 shot less if you’re using a smaller glass)
• 2 Oz Iced Tea
• 2 Oz Lemonade (Or you can buy a premix of Iced Tea and Lemonade which is so easy)
• Garnish: 1 Wedge Lemon (Squeeze in cocktail)

Instructions

Quick & Easy Steps

1. Fill your glass to the top with Ice.
2. Add all ingredients and stir well.
3. Squeeze a nice slice of lemon into the cocktail.
4. Garnish with an additional slice if desired.

Perfect for Any Occasion

It’s just equal parts of Vodka, Lemonade, and Iced Tea served over ice with a big squeeze of lemon.

Like me, you can buy the premixed Lemonade and Ice Tea and then it’s super easy to mix this up in two minutes. This is a super versatile cocktail that everyone will enjoy. It will go great with whatever you choose for your Memorial Day feast.

This would be ideal with my Spicy Peach Wings and some summer time sides.

You could also easily make a pitcher where your guests can help themselves and just keep some ice in a bucket on the side.
