Baileys Hot Cocoa Recipe
Today I’m excited to share one of my favorites – the Baileys Hot Cocoa drink!
What’s better than a hot cup of cocoa on a cold snowy Valentine’s Day? Well, one with Baileys in it, of course! It’s the perfect way to show your love by whipping up a nice cup of cocoa after a day of sledding or making a snowman.
This cocoa is so rich and yummy. So Mom, you can make some for the kids, but then in your cup, you add a nice big shot of Baileys!
Adult Twist on a Childhood Favorite
Cocoa doesn’t have to just be for kids. Hot cocoa is so relaxing and indulgent but especially yummy with a little Baileys.
It’s a great drink to make on a cold Valentine’s Day.
Maybe you have spent the day outside with the kids, or maybe you’re cuddling up in front of a roaring fire with someone you love.
What’s more romantic than sipping a steaming mug of spiked cocoa with your honey.
Quick and Easy Homemade Hot Cocoa
Homemade hot cocoa is super quick and easy to make.
I just use Hershey’s Cocoa, sugar, a touch of salt, and a little water.
Bring this to a boil, then turn the heat down and add your milk. Stir it up well, then add a bit of vanilla.
Pour your steaming cocoa into a mug and add a generous shot of Baileys. You can top this off with whip cream or I top with adorable heart-shaped marshmallows!

Serving and Storage Tips
My recipe makes about four large mugs of cocoa. You can make this recipe ahead of time and keep it in the fridge.
Just pour it back into the pan or microwave it to heat it back up.
Maybe you made some heart-shaped cookies or you’re going to have this as dessert after you made the family heart-shaped pizzas.
Enjoy!
I hope this recipe will make some memories for you and your family. I have wonderful memories of sledding with my beloved sisters and building snow igloos in our yard.
So mix up some cocoa today and make your own memories.
Also, parents don’t forget that Baileys because it sure does make it delish! Happy Sledding!
