The Lone Ranger: Your New Summertime Cocktail
Summertime is around the corner, so it’s time to lighten up, relax, and refresh! This Lone Ranger cocktail checks off all the boxes. It is so light and refreshing and is the perfect Summertime Sparkler! When I first discovered this drink, it did seem like a weird combo to me, but oh no, it is a wonderful mix that is my new go-to cocktail for the Summer!
The Lone Ranger is like a take on the French 75 but with Tequila. It was invented by a bartender in Portland, Oregon, who thought to replace the gin with tequila and the champagne with Rose Prosecco and named it the Lone Ranger!
It’s a combo of Tequila, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup, and Rose Prosecco. Once Summer rolls in, everyone is ready to lighten up their cocktail selection. This drink is perfect because it uses Tequila, which is so popular right now, and Rose Prosecco.
Rose is popular when the temperatures rise, and it gives this drink an unexpected fizz that is super delightful!
How to Mix The Lone Ranger
With Summer almost here and the temperature rising, bubbles are the way to go! Also, Rose over plain prosecco is not only pretty but quite refreshing and super popular right now!
So to mix these up, it couldn’t get any easier. Nothing fancy, and you can mix it right in the glass! Just fill a tall glass with ice and add your Tequila, Simple Syrup, Lemon Juice, and top it off with Rose Prosecco!
Garnish that beautiful cocktail with a lemon twist, and you are ready to grab your sunglasses and a beach towel and head to the pool!
