How to Make a Pumpkin Shaped Cheeseball

Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients

This cheeseball is packed with a rich blend of creamy, savory ingredients. You’ll need cream cheese, pub cheese, shredded cheddar, chives, dried onions, and a splash of Worcestershire sauce for a touch of umami flavor.

Mixing these ingredients together may seem messy, but trust me, the best way to incorporate them is with your hands. It’s quick, effective, and gives you the perfect texture for shaping your cheeseball.

Step 2: Form and Shape the Cheeseball

Once everything is mixed, roll the cheeseball in extra shredded cheddar to give it a nice coating. Next, wrap the ball in plastic wrap. Now, for the fun part: take four pieces of twine, each about 12 inches long, and tie them snugly around the cheeseball to create the ridges of the pumpkin.

Place the cheeseball in the fridge to firm up for about 4 hours, or if you’re short on time, pop it in the freezer for an hour.

Step 3: Add the Finishing Touches

Once the cheeseball has set, carefully remove the twine and plastic wrap to reveal the pumpkin shape. For that final, festive touch, take the stem from a green pepper and press it into the center of the cheeseball.
