Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Container Large Grape Tomatoes Don't buy round because they won't look like tulips. Try to find larger ones as they are easier to stuff and make more of a statement
  • 1/2 8 oz Whipped Chive & Garlic Cream Cheese Philadelphia
  • 1 Bunch Chives

Instructions

  • Wash tomatoes and dry completely
  • Fill piping bag with room temperature Cream Cheese with a small Star Tip
  • Use 12-20 Large Grape Tomatoes and score the tops of each one with an X cutting down about half way
  • Using the flat end of a small spoon handle or a butter knife clean out the insides of each tomato
  • Taking a sharp paring knife cut a small hole in the bottom of each tomato where you will insert the chive stem
  • Pipe the filling carefully into each tomato making sure to not over fill so they look neat and pretty. Arrange them on your plate to look like a bouquet
  • Carefully attach each end of the chive into the bottom of each tomato. Choose thinner chives as it looks prettier
  • Once all arranged snipe the bottom of the chives so they are all the same length and are contained on the platter
  • Take a thicker chive and tie around the middle of the stems so it looks like a bow
  • Using a paper towel or a paint brush clean up each tomato so they look pretty before serving
