Mini Steak Skewers

One delicious bite on a stick of Steak, Mushroom and Red Onion marinated and grilled to perfection

Equipment

  • 1 Zip Lock Bag
  • Grill or Cast Iron Pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1-2 8 Oz Filet or Top Sirloin Steak Cut in 1 inch Cubes
  • 5-6 Large Mushroom or 15 Mini Mushrooms Cut Large Mushrooms in thick Slices
  • 1/2 Large Red Onion Sliced in 1 inch Pieces
  • 15 Bamboo Med Skewers Soaked in water for one hour
  • 1 Bunch Rosemary - Chopped and topped on meat while skewering
  • 2 TB Steak Rub

Marinade

  • 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Red Wine
  • 2 TB Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tsp Oregano

Instructions
 

  • After chopping your steak, mushrooms and red onion add the zip lock bag and tope with marinade. Marinate for at least one hour in the refrigerator
  • Soak bamboo skewers while meat is marinating
  • After one hour skewer a chunck of meat and top with a little rosemary then add onion and mushroom. Continue till all meat is used
  • Sprinke skewers with Steak rub of your choice
  • When placing on grill grates put them horizontal so they don't fall through
  • Heat grill to high then sear the skewers for two minutes then turn heat to low and flip skewers and continue to cook for three more minutes
  • Let rest for 5 minutes and enjoy!
