A delicious mixture of tomato, garlic, fresh basil in a phyllo cup then topped with a mozzarella heart and drizzled ever so lightly with reduced balsamic vinegar
1/4TspDried Basil, Oregano and a sprinkle of garlic powder
Salt and Pepper to taste
1PackagePhyllo CupsOr Bruchetta Toasts or toasted sliced italian bread
2TBOlive Oil
1BottleReduced Balsamic Vinegar
1LogPre-Sliced Fresh Mozzarella CheeseFound by the specialty cheeses in your produce section - if you can't find sliced just buy the medium balls which are called bocconcini or whatever size is appropriate for your cookie cutter and slice them yourself
Instructions
Cut your fresh mozzarella in heart shapes and set aside
Take phyllo cups out of freezer to thaw
Finely dice tomatoes, basil, garlic and toss with OO and spices
Fill each cup with tomato mixture which is about a teaspoon and top with a cheese heart
By waving your hand above the prepared cups lightly drizzle the balsamic back and forth to make pretty stripes across your cups
