Salted Caramel Martini
Next time you have a sweet craving don’t reach for a cookie or cake just get out your Cocktail Shaker and mix up this Martini!
The Salted Caramel Martini is certainly dessert in a glass and is oh so luscious, creamy and incredibly satisfying!

My version of this drink is so easy yet still indulgent. It’s just your choice of good Vodka, Salted Caramel Bailey’s and a little touch of Caramel Sauce.
The must have in this recipe is the rimmed martini glass of more caramel sauce but the piece de resistance is the addition of the Flaky Sea Salt!
As you are sipping this drink you get the light taste of the yummy Maldon Sea Salt that really puts it over the top. The combination of the chocolate and caramel from the Bailey’s pairs so nicely with the salty rim!
There are many versions of this cocktail which others use heavy cream. I choose not to include this as it just does not need the addition of probably an extra 100 calories but it would be too heavy for me.
But to each his own. If you are looking for something that would be incredibly dessert like and slow sipping and creamy just add a little heavy cream to my recipe!

So if you’re having friends over for dinner or it’s a holiday and you’ve already served a big meal this would be a wonderful apres dinner addition instead of an actual dessert. It is creamy delicious and will satisfy your sweet craving!
So next Valentines Day, St Patrick’s Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, after dinner for Mother’s or Father’s Day or just because you have a sweet tooth you definitely should grab your cocktail shaker and mix up this Martini! It only has three ingredients and only takes about three minutes to make. Definitely the best three minutes of your time that you can do for yourself or someone you love! Cheers!

Why This Salted Caramel Martini Works
This drink is truly the perfect balance of sweet and salty. You get that rich caramel flavor, a little chocolate from the Bailey’s and then just the right hit of salt from the rim that keeps it from being overly sweet.
It’s indulgent—but not too heavy—which is exactly why I love it.

The Secret Is the Rim
Do not skip this step! The caramel and Maldon Flaky Sea Salt rim is what makes this Salted Caramel Martini stand out.
That little bit of flaky salt with each sip completely changes the drink and takes it from good to absolutely amazing.
Pro tip: You can do a full rim or just half/three-quarters if you want a little less salt.

No Heavy Cream Needed (But You Can Add It)
I purposely skip the heavy cream here because it just makes the drink too heavy in my opinion.
But if you want something extra creamy and more dessert-like, you can absolutely add a splash. It will turn this into more of a slow-sipping, rich cocktail.

Perfect After Dinner Drink
This is one of my favorite cocktails to serve after a big meal. It’s like dessert—but in a glass.
It’s especially perfect for:
- Holidays
- Dinner parties
- Date nights
- Or honestly… just when you want a treat

Conclusion
If you’re looking for an easy, indulgent cocktail that feels a little special, this Salted Caramel Martini is it. It’s creamy, sweet, a little salty, and comes together in just minutes.
Whether you’re serving guests or just treating yourself, this is one recipe you’ll come back to again and again.

Salted Caramel Martini
Equipment
Ingredients
- 3 Oz Salted Caramel Bailey's Irish Creme Liquor
- 2 Oz Good Vodka Titos
- 1/2 Oz Caramel Sauce Like the ice cream topping
Garnish
- 2 TB Caramel Sauce 1 for the rim and the other to garnish the inside of the glass
- 1 Tsp Maldon Flaky Sea Salt
- Chocolate Curls if desired Optional
Instructions
- Pour your Caramel Sauce on a plate and rim your martini glass
- Dip the Caramel rim in the Flaky Sea Salt – you can do 3/4 only of the glass if desired – Now take your bottle of Caramel and lightly go back and forth in the inside of the glass to make a pretty Caramel design
- At this point if you have the time and space it is nice to freeze your glass as it sets the Caramel and also keeps your cocktail nice and frosty
- Fill your Cocktail Shaker with Ice and add the Bailey's, Vodka and Caramel Sauce – Shake for 15 seconds
- Pour into your frosted glass and serve
- If you desire you can garnish with chocolate curls or shavings – purely optional as this drink with the rim is good on it's own
- Enjoy!
