Martharita
My all-time favorite celebrity chef and businesswoman is my girl Martha Stewart! I adore and admire her so very much! How can you not? This is a woman who is extremely intelligent, hard-working, uber creative, over-the-top successful, beautiful to boot—and one of her best friends is Snoop Dogg.
Like, come on?!

A Lifelong Admiration
I have admired her since I was a young girl! I have saved every magazine since the early ’80s, and I love every single one. If I didn’t have young children 20 years ago, I would have joined the rally to Free Martha!!!

A Margarita That’s Pure Martha
Besides her just being simply fabulous in every aspect of life, the woman can make a great Margarita! She calls this cocktail the Martharita, and it is just as wonderful as she is! So get out your blender and start mixing!
Cocktail hour starts now! Here’s how to make a Martharita…
Martha’s Signature Ingredients

Martha doesn’t cut corners when it comes to quality. From Casa Dragones Blanco tequila to Stirrings all-natural Triple Sec, and of course, Pom Wonderful’s rich pomegranate concentrate—each ingredient elevates this cocktail to celebrity status.
If you’re able to find these exact ingredients, you’re in for a truly Martha-worthy experience. But don’t worry if you can’t—there are some great substitutes that still make for a fabulous Martharita.
Smart Substitutes That Still Sparkle
Couldn’t find Pom Wonderful concentrate? Neither could I! But don’t let that stop you. I ordered a pomegranate concentrate added an ounce of simple syrup, and a drop of pink food coloring. The taste? Marvelous. The color? Stunning.

Sip in Style: Presentation Tips
With a name like Martharita, your glass better be fabulous. Choose your prettiest margarita glass—mine were hand-blown in Mexico and gifted by my sister Fran—and prep it Martha-style.
Use a lime wedge to moisten only the outer rim of your glass and dip it in coarse sea salt. Martha prefers Fleur de Sel, but regular sea salt works in a pinch. Just make sure no salt falls into the drink—it’s one of Martha’s pet peeves!
She is known to actually keep a dish of this fabulous salt on her counter so she’s prepared when she gets a craving for her Martharita!

Blend & Serve
Now that your glass is ready add all your ingredients to your blender. Top it with a cup or two of ice and give it a whirl.
It should be a slushy consistency and a beautiful deep shade of pink!
Pour this into your gorgeous glass and sit back and enjoy this incredible cocktail!

You don’t have to be a super fan of Martha like me to enjoy this Martharita! But I have to say just like Martha–”It’s a Good Thing!”

Equipment
- 1 Blender
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
- 1 Cup Tequila Blanco Martha uses Casa Dragones Blanco – I used Patron
- 1/4 Cup Triple Sec Martha uses Stirrings all natural – I used De Kuyper
- 1/4 Cup Pomegrante Cocktail Concentrate Martha uses Pom Wonderful
- 2 Cups Ice
- 2 TB Coarse Sea Salt Martha uses Fleur de Sel – I used regular Sea Salt
- 1/2 Lime 3 rounds to garnish and the other to run around outside of the glass to salt
Instructions
- Start by preparing your most fabulous Margarita glass by running a lime around only the OUTSIDE of the glass then dipping generously in Sea Salt – A pet peeve of Martha's is to let the salt drop down into her cocktail!
- To your blender add Tequila, Triple Sec, Lime Juice and Pomegranate Concentrate
- If you are substituting Pom Wonderful with the Amazon brand of concentrate you need to add 1 ounce of Simple Syrup or Agave and a drop of pink food coloring – the Amazon Brand has a brown tone to it and makes your drink an unappealing color but it tastes delicious!
- Add two cups of ice and blend till a slushy consistency
- Pour into your Fabulous glass, garnish with Lime Wheels and enjoy this marvelous drink – Its a Good Thing!
