Sweet & Spicy Turkey Meatballs

Equipment

  • 1 Saucepan
  • 1 Large Skillet
  • 1 Crock Pot

Ingredients
  

  • 1 LB Ground Turkey
  • 1/4 Heaping Cup Panko
  • 1 Whisked Egg
  • 2 Cloves Garlic MInced
  • 1 TB Fresh Parsley Minced
  • 1 Tsp Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Pepper
  • 1/4 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Oregano
  • 1 TB Oil In pan to fry meatballs

Sauce

  • 1 16 oz Jar Apricot or Peach Jam
  • 2 Inch Piece Fresh Ginger sliced and diced
  • 4 TB Chili Crisp Crunch Found in the Asian aisle
  • 5 TB Soy Sauce
  • 4 TB Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 3 TB Sriracha Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Mix all ingredients with Ground Turkey meat until well incorporated
  • Form meat mixture into small bite size balls - you should get about 25
  • Heat oil in large skillet to med high and add meatballs and cook for 2 minutes
  • Flip meatballs and cook additional 2 minutes
  • Turn heat down to med low and cover pan and cook for 10 minutes while stirring them every few minutes to ensure an even cook
  • While meatballs are cooking mix all ingredients for sauce in a small pan and cook for 15 minutes till slightly thickened and flavors meld
  • Add meatballs and sauce to a Crockpot and keep on warm
  • Serve with toothpicks
