Super Tasty Fried Dill Pickles
Thick zesty pickle slices double dredged in flour and buttermilk to satisfy your cravings on Super Bowl Sunday!

- 1 Jar Zesty Whole Dill Pickles Use Claussen or Stumps as they are crunchy and will fry up the best
- 1 Cup Flour Divided in two bowls
- 1/2 Cup Buttermilk
- 1 Egg
- 1 Bottle Vegetable Oil - 3 inches deep in your pan
- 1/2 Tsp Each Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Paprika, Oregano, Salt and Pepper and Cayenne Pepper to Taste
- 1/2 Tsp Dill Weed in Final Dipping Bowl with a sprinkle of Oregano and Salt and Pepper
Dipping Sauce
- 1 Bottle Ranch Dressing or Hidden Valley Ranch Dip
- Chick-Fil-A Copy Cat Sauce Recipe on Potato Chip Chicken Blog
Slice Pickles in 1/4 inch thick slices and pat dry on paper towels
Divide flour between two bowls and put all spices in first bowl then just Dill, Oregano and Salt and Pepper in final bowl
Whisk Egg and Buttermilk together for the middle dipping bowl
Heat Oil to 375 degrees
Using left hand dip pickle slice in the spicy flour, then using right hand dip in egg mixture then the last bowl of the Dill Flour
Pat the flour mixture into the pickle slice and sprinkle with a tiny bit of dill the fry at 375 degrees for 3-4 minutes per side.
Drain on paper towels and serve with dipping sauce
