Ice cubes made from Strawberry Jam and water with a big berry in the middle. Float this in your Champangne Coupe for a delicious and lovely drink to serve those you love
Microwave To melt Jam or could be done in a pan on the stove
1 Baking Sheet to put your mold on to freeze
Ingredients
1BottleBrut Prosecco or Champagne
6Large StrawberriesCut off a bit of the bottom so they sit upright in the mold
8Heaping TBStrawberry Jam
1 1/2CupsWater
Instructions
Place your silicone mold on a baking sheet and place one cleaned and prepared berry in the middle of each mold
Scoop Jam in a pyrex cup and Microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds - Check half way through and mix - Heat only till melted
Mix water into the melted jam to make about two cups and pour over the berries in each mold
Position the berry in the middle of each cup stem side up and freeze till solid - By cutting off the bottom tip of the berry it enables it to sit up straight in the cup and will only be covered 3/4 of the way with the Jam Mixture
Put one ice cube in a coupe style glass and pour champagne or Prosecco over and serve
