Incredible Irish Coffee

Traditional Irish Coffee with a little twist by adding maple syrup to complement the warmth of the Jameson's Whiskey

Equipment

  • 1 Stand Up Mixer
  • 1 Tablespoon
  • 1 Coffee Maker

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Strong Brewed Coffee
  • 1 1/2 Oz Jameson's Irish Whiskey
  • 1 Tsp Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 Small Carton Heavy Cream Or more depending on size of glass - you want about a 1/2 inch of cream to float on top

Instructions
 

  • Chill your mixing bowl and paddle
  • Once cold mix your heavy whipping cream for 3-5 minutes until thickened but before peaks form - you may need to whip longer if making more cream for numerous drinks
  • Put brown sugar, maple syrup and Jameson Whiskey in glass and top with fresh hot brewed coffee leaving and inch on top or so for the cream
  • Heat your TB under hot water for one minute
  • Using back of spoon slowly pour the cream over the spoon so that it floats on top of the coffee about 1 inch thick
