Equipment

  • 1 Pair of Scissors To cut down and trim pine and rosemary sprigs
  • 1 Large Cutting Board or Charcuterie Platter
  • 1 Juice Glass To form salami roses
  • 2 Star Cookie Cutters in different sizes if you have them
  • Skewers or Toothpicks to serve

Ingredients

  • 16-20 Sprigs Arborvitae, Rosemary or both
  • Holiday Crackers
  • 1 LB Thinly Sliced Genoa Salami
  • 20 Cherry Tomatoes
  • 20 Bocaccini Cheese Balls
  • 1 Bunch Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 10 Green Olives
  • 1 Container Raspberries
  • 3-5 TB Pomegranate Seeds
  • 1 7 oz Package of Pre-Sliced Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 TB Reduced Balsamic Vinegar Reduced is like a syrup

Instructions

  • Cut Arborvitae Sprigs from tips about 3 inches long and shape in a 15 inch circle on your board
  • Add sprigs of rosemary every few inches around the circle
  • Working your way in the circle layer christmas crackers around the circle
  • Form salami roses by overlapping slices of salami on a juice glass. Fold each slice down about 2/3 of the way and keep rotating around the glass while overlapping the slices. Invert the salami and it will come out the shape of a rose. Place these at 1:00 - 5:00 and 10:00 on your circle
  • Add 3 cherry tomatoes and 3 bocaccini balls on either side of the salami roses and tuck basil leaves inbetween
  • Add 3-4 green olives inbetween each section of tomatoes to divide them
  • Place a few raspberries in front of the olives and sprinkle the pomegranate seeds around the greens
  • Cut star shapes out of the cheddar cheese and place every few inches around the wreath
  • Lightly drizzle the balsamic reduction on the tomatoes, cheese and basil
