Cherry Martini

The most delicious fruity Martini ever made! A incredible combination of homemade Cherry Simple Syrup, Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice and a heavy hand of Vodka served icy cold!

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 8 Oz Frozen Pitted Cherries About half the bag
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup Sugar

Cocktail

  • 2 Oz Cherry Simple Syrup
  • 1 Oz Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 4 Oz Vodka Titos

Garnish

  • 2 Twist Lemon
  • 2 Cherries Cut a small slit on the bottom to hang on side of Martini Glass

Instructions
 

  • To make simple syrup you add half the bag of thawed cherries to the sugar and water and mix well - Bring to a rolling boil then turn down the heat and simmer at a low boil for 15 minutes
  • While the cherries are boiling take the back of a spoon and smash the cherries into the liquid
  • Once cherries are cooked run them through a fine mesh sieve pushing the juice out of the cherries and discarding the remains -Save cherry juice for up to 2 weeks
  • In a ice filled cocktail shaker add the Vodka, Cherry Simple Syrup and the fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice and shake well
  • Pour into Martini Glass and Garnish with a fresh Cherry and a twist of lemon rubbed along the rim
