Easter Cottontail Coconut margarita

Uniquely Tropical

This is definitely a unique twist on a traditional margarita. If you want to make a lower calorie and lighter version of this cocktail you can use all coconut milk, tequila, triple sec and pineapple with a squeeze of lime.

If you’re looking for a more decadent and creamy cocktail just add a shot of cream of coconut and you can take this to a whole new level.

Creating the Perfect Coconut Rim

If you’re doing an Easter party or having a friends get together for Easter this is a perfect cocktail to serve. It’s so festive and fun!

All you do is rim your margarita glasses with a little marshmallow fluff then you dip it in sweetened coconut.

Use your fingers and press the coconut into the fluff so it sticks.

To make the bunny tail you slice a marshmallow in thirds and make a slit to garnish the edge of your glass. You could also just use the whole marshmallow.

Either way this is so cute!

Lighter Version Enhancements

For those opting for the lighter version with only coconut milk, the addition of marshmallow fluff and coconut on the rim enhances the overall taste of the drink.

However, the true tropical paradise is unlocked with a shot of cream of coconut, intensifying the flavors and making it exceptionally delightful.

Perfect for a Crowd

Easily scalable for a larger gathering, this cocktail can be prepared in a pitcher. Combine all the ingredients, ensuring a good mix as coconut milk tends to separate.

For convenience, this can be done the night before, allowing you to refrigerate the mixture and simply pour it over ice-filled glasses when ready to serve.

Preparing the coconut rim and garnishes in advance makes hosting a breeze.
