Looking for a delightful and hassle-free appetizer for that special day? Look no further! These Asian Shrimp Bites are not only delicious but also incredibly simple to prepare.
With just five ingredients that come together in minutes, you can have a mouthwatering treat in no time.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 Cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 2 TB Honey
- 3 Minced Garlic Cloves
- 1 Heaping Tsp Sriracha
- 1 TB Olive Oil (for coating the pan)
- 2 TB Minced Fresh Parsley (for garnish)
Marinating the Shrimp:
Start by creating a flavorful mixture in a bowl.
Combine Low-Sodium Soy Sauce, Honey, Sriracha, and garlic. Mix well and add the thawed, peeled, and deveined shrimp to the marinade.
Allow the shrimp to marinate while you heat up the sauté pan.
Cooking Instructions:
- Pan Preparation: Heat the sauté pan and coat it lightly with Olive Oil.
- Cooking the Shrimp: Add the marinated shrimp to the pan and cook each side for approximately 3 minutes.
- Skewering and Garnishing: Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the pan and skewer each piece with a toothpick. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the skewered shrimp for an added burst of freshness.
Optional Dipping Sauce:
If you prefer a dipping sauce, you can use the remaining marinade.
After removing the shrimp, add the remaining sauce to the pan and cook for a few minutes until it thickens.
However, keep in mind that the dish is already flavorful, and adding the sauce may intensify the saltiness. For a balanced taste, it’s recommended to use low-sodium soy sauce.
